The UK’s biggest and most influential Afrobeats Pioneer, Radio Presenter, DJ, TV personality and global Afrobeats ambassador!

Abrantee has established himself as one of the most recognizable voices and personalities on the Uk and African Music Scene and most notable pioneer of the Afrobeats Music across UK and the world.
In 2005, Abrantee joined one of the UK’s leading contemporary radio stations formally named Choice FM now CapitalXtra to provide temporary covers for other DJ’s and presenters at the station. After 2years providing cover, he managed to secured a spot on the 3am-6am Early Riser Mon-Fri.
In 2010, Abrantee progressed on to the evening slot 8pm -12 on weekdays and Saturdays 4-8pm. By working tirelessly and honing on his radio voice in just under a year on the evening show, Abrantee became the presenter of the weekday Drive Time show 4pm-8pm, the voice of Capital Xtra and lunched the worlds first “Afrobeats” Radio Show in April 2011 on Choice FM.

The Afrobeats Show become the No.1 Trending radio show in the world for years and had the station trending for the first time in its history. The Afrobeats Show was the launch pad for an array of African artists and used to spot play potential hits that eventually became playlist on commercial stations in the UK.
In 2014, Abrantee was awarded with the biggest award in UK radio as the ‘Voice of Capitalxtra’, ‘Radio Personality’ of the year at the BEFFTA’s and a nomination for Best DJ at the 2016 Urban Music Awards.

Abrantee accomplished 3 successful Afrobeats compilations with Skata Records, DLA and the latter backed by Capital Xtra. He has also hosted some of the biggest musical festivals and events headlined by the likes of Jay-Z, Rick Ross, Fabulous, Dbanj, T-Pain and many more.
His talents extends beyond the stage, reaching to his thousands of regular listeners tuning in to his exclusive interviews on both Radio and Television with the likes Nicki Minaj, Migos, Usher, Drake, P.Diddy, Trey Songs, B.O.B, Tinie Tempah. Trey Songs and so many more. Amongst his grand catalog of prominent interviews Abrantee has hosted events headlined by African stars such as P Square, 2Face R2Bees, Atumpan, May7ven, Olu Maintain, Ice Prince, D-Black, Wizkid, Davido and more.
Abrantee launched The show aptly named The Abrantee show on ABN TV in 2017  feature trending topics of conversation, guest interviews from music artists and celebrities from across the world, highlights on new rising stars, Top 10 Afrobeats chats count down, behind the scenes of major music events including Red carpet, Entertainment news & gossip.
Abrantees reach across the airwaves as the voice of the youth and Radio DJ Broadcasting on Radio and TV across the world has made him one of the biggest players in the industry and leading protagonists of Afrobeats.

Known for his silky charismatic on and off-air persona, Abrantee has made his mark as one of the most sought after voices and djs in the industry. He is also one of the Founders of Afrobeats Live, the UK’s leading, successful and longest running Afrobeats Music events alongs side his long term girlfriend, musician and entrepreneur  May7ven. Abrantee also adds a BEFFTA Honorary award for his outstanding contribution and pioneering work for the growing Afrobeats Music scene in. In August 2017, Abrantee suffered a serious stroke which caused him mobility and speech impairments but has made a remarkable recovery which was applauded at the 2021 MOBO Awards in Coventry when he appeared to present the Best African Category.
